Upper Yough Expeditions is conveniently located just off I-68 in Friendsville, Maryland – minutes from Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County.
All our trips meet at the Friendsville Community Park in Friendsville, MD. April, May, September, and October trips meet at 11 a.m., and June, July, and August trips meet at 12 p.m. The van and guides do not arrive early so you don’t need to either. Please arrive no earlier than trip time.
The Park is our take-out spot. There are bathrooms and changing facilities available.

GPS users can enter Friendsville, MD Community Park or GPS Coordinates N39.497185, W79.643179. The Community Park is on Old River Rd and there are brown signs all over town directing you to the Whitewater Take-Out area. Or follow our turn by turn directions below.
From I-68 Westbound.
Take Friendsville Exit (#4). Turn right at the bottom of the exit. Turn left on Addison Rd. just past the Old Mill Restaurant. Turn left into the Friendsville Community Park. Stay to the right on the loop around the park. We meet at the back of the loop. Look for the white 15-passenger van that says Upper Yough Expeditions.
From I-68 Eastbound.
Take Friendsville Exit (#4). Stay right at the fork on the exit ramp to Rt. 42 South. Make your first left on First Ave. Turn right on Maple . Turn left on Addison Rd. just past the Old Mill Restaurant. Turn left into the Friendsville Community Park. Stay to the right on the loop around the park. We meet at the back of the loop. Look for the white 15-passenger van that says Upper Yough Expeditions.
